Mushroom Knife - Garden Knife Walnut Handle by Fontenille Pataud

The Mushroom & Garden Knife by Gilles® Fontenille Pataud is an essential tool for serious foragers and outdoor enthusiasts. While designed specifically for the delicate task of harvesting mushrooms with its traditionally curved blade, its robust construction makes it equally effective for precision garden tasks like pruning and grafting.

Handcrafted in Thiers—the historic heart of French cutlery—each knife is meticulously created from start to finish by a single master artisan. This model utilizes a traditional slip joint mechanism, offering the classic feel and reliability of a heritage folding knife. Proudly 100% Made in France.

Handle Character: This model features genuine Walnut (Noyer) scales. Favored for its resilience and earthy, deep-brown palette, Walnut offers a straight, fine grain that feels warm and natural in the hand. The ergonomic shape ensures a steady, comfortable grip during long days in the forest or garden. The knife pictured is the exact one you will receive.
